Funny you should ask. The narwhal meme was started here on chess.com by yours truly. Yes, It was I started the narwhal meme here on chess.com in a post a few years ago describing Bobby Fischer's inadequacies as a Narwhal hunter (recall that BF spent a lot of time in iceland) from the point of view of a gruff and somewhat narrow minded mighty narwhal hunter of the north (I'd found a gruesome pic on the web of a greenlander dude standing proudly upon the ice beside a very bloody half-butchered narwhal). The post was hilarious and it took off -- next thing you know there's a narwhal meme. All becasue of me.

Really? I don't recall any walrus posts... although I do have a walrus anecdote... there was a self-pleasuring (onanistic) walrus at the coney island aquarium for a long time... poor bored beast would just fap-fap-fap away the hours while horrified/amused parents would lead their gaping fascinated puzzled kids away.  But that's just an anecdote, the narwhal post was a work of art. I hope I didn't dream it. I'm pretty sure I didn't.

I distinctly recall you posting a sketch of a walrus standing upright and discussing some matter with a gentleman in top-hat and cloak among a bunch of puddles, followed or preceded by a rather longish poem.
