Hi Aris!
I'm quite happy to join. Thanks for inviting me.
Regis
Hello Ari,
Congratulations with this beautyfull initiatif, but as you know, I don't have the time to participate. But perhaps I can help you: I have the book (written in German ):"Die Gesammelten Partien Von Robert J. Fisher ",(Redigiert von Christiaan M. Bijl) with annotations of H Kramer,SH Postma,G Sosonko, Boris Spassky and J.H. Timman; so these are ALL the games he ever played. If this is of interest for you , I can send this book to your personal address and you can keep it as long as you need it, then you'll send it back to me.
The reason why the concert with my son's group in Athens is cancelled was that there were serious problems with the PA !!!!????
You let me now something about this book ?
Friendly greetings,
Herman
Herman you are as always very helpful!Well,i REALLY appreciate your thought about the book, but you see with Internet things are very easy to find his games and i also own his book "My 60 memorable games' annotated by himself,so no need to bother.Anyway, thanks again.
To bad that your son won't play at Athens..What is PA??I will see next week at Thessaloniki Anne Clark, your son probably know her..
Hello Ari,
No thanks for this at all ! I was happy to think I could be for you some help ! But you're completely right: on internet you can find everything, I forget this sometimes !!
PA is the abbreviation of " Public Address " and this means the electronic fortification of the sound (addressed to the public ! haha), but we can't now everything, with your education I'm pretty sure there are a lot of things you know where I never heard about it !! But for me it's a little bit difficult to understand that a place like where the concert had to be done, I forgot the name, underworld or something, they cancel a concert for this !
Of course my son knows Anne Clark, he had a concert with her and professor Lem Lemaire , but I have forgotten were it was: Waregem in Belgium, Leipzig in Germany or Arrau in Switzerland !
Thanks also to give me the url, I was watching in the menu:"Forums" and found nothing, and because of my very high age, I forgot simply to go and watch to the place where I put my message in it ! (perhaps the forwarding demention !haha)
Friendly greetings,
Herman
After the idea with the group about Tal,now i created a group about Robert Fischer one of the best chess players ever (for many people just the best). Many annotated games of this great player will follow (trying to make a database of many Fischer's games),biographies and topics about him.No team matches,no vote chess, just the legend of Fischer in this group..
