. You obviously know London ...

Not really, I mostly passed by on my way to the Midlands and the North (Newcastle, Liverpool...)

Oh really. I know Newcastle and L'pool both very well. Lived for five years in the latter, do a lot of business with Newcastle over the past 20 years and used to live just to the North in a nice town called Morpeth.

Is that where New Castle Nut Brown Ale is manufactured/brewed?

Avatar of Optimissed

No.

Newcastle Brown Ale is made there by Scottish and Newcastle Breweries. It isn't actually a brown ale at all. On leaving school when we were 18, a friend and I hitch=hiked to Istanbul and back and we carried a bottle each of Newcy Brown and drank it on the shores of the Bosphorus.

"normies", and you end up with a scenery barely anyone understands in the full.

In other words...the majority.

 I can go another route.

The majority desires not.

At least, not yet.

I wasn't aligned in any way, except I would have been identified as a freak. I suppose you may have heard of freaks from back then, maybe 68 to 73? There was no unanimity. That was the point ... each person was themselves.

The whole movement(s) of the 60's were what some refer to as "controlled chaos" !

Malcolm X mentioned how this weird social engineering works. King, Exploited it.

The only band of them Hard Rock & Heavy Metal I've find musically compatible with Punk Rock routines, is MotörHead. While poetic, their lyrics seem to be rather empty of any precise ideas or ideologies. Like: But wtf ,am I going to do with some dumb ace of spades???

Bit Kid's music really. My ex wife fancied Lemmie. Hawkwind may have been their equivalent from 10 years before. But Hawkwind, I think, survive the test of time better than Motorhead. What do you think?

Master of the Universe, Hawkwind. After not playing it for a few decades, it still sounds good but slightly retro. I have my brother's original vinyl.

^^ Ugh it's a horrible, digital version. Completely unbalanced, with mid-range, strangely, too loud. Strange because normally modern remixes of most things have too little mid and too much bass. I can't listen to that. Sounds better analogue, out of my rather good speakers.

Saw these guys twice. Old fogies now.

Opt - they stole Beethoven's off 7 beats from Eroica in their song Captor of Sin.

Recognize it?
