All I says was mandated, in America, have done nothing, and many things formerly thought of as conspiracy, like the differentiate stats regarding hospitalizations, have bus been admitted as real by the CDC.

We have all the statistics now for states with mandates and without. The results are very clear. Mandates did not protect from death.

The CDC admits 75% of ppl in America who have died from Covid had at LEAST 4 comorbidity.

States that were UNHEALTHY suffered the most, mandates or no mandates. In America we know which states are the fattest and they line right up in deaths per capita almost perfectly.

There is NO WAY to prove mandates saved lives except by deaths per capita.

If anyone knows another way I’m all ears.

If people that cannot deal with reality….talk vague….perhaps.
People will then think them knowledgeable?

Many brain cells are lost. In truth.

And the cow jumped over the moon….because disinformation told him to? Unlikely.

And if, in truth, there be darkness then fi fie fo fum, most assuredly.

If the anti-vaxxers and anti-maskers and disinformation people ...
can get the Slightest Concession out of other people ... (they often do)
that includes internal concessions ...  
then a terrible purpose is served.
A purpose that costs lives.  Many lives.
If they can get the discussion to be about a general 'you and me' - again they're getting a foothold it might be better they didn't get.

Its bad that Australia re-enabled Djokovic's visa and was on the verge of a precipice.  They almost allowed him to continue.
But they came through in the end.
With judges Unanimous.
All the extra publicity and it being dragged out right up to the end -
might serve a great purpose ...  sending a signal to the world that people who want to travel internationally without vaccination - can be Stopped.

No concessions.  You don't want to wear a mask onboard - you don't go and how about some fines and jail time to go with that?

Issue - the airlines might have to put those passengers up in hotel rooms - and schedule an additional plane to take the complying passengers to London ?
Would the money for that - come from the fine ?
Too good.  Justice rarely is that perfect.

I agree with a lot of what you say peet. I just think there’s too many people saying ‘this is what’s really going on’ when really they have no clue. And I’m not on about you, I’m on about the reports, the scientists and the politicians. Reports from all sides are spurious to say the least.

I think if you have solid proof as to why something is right then I will listen to you, sad that people just believe everything that they hear on the news

And - 'concessions' now being made.  Unfortunately.
With an attempt to dismiss the fact that Australia is doing 25 times as well as the USA against Covid with 'coastline of Australia'.
Canada is doing better than twice as well as the US against Covid - and on that the anti-vaxx/mask/disinfo people will yell  "Hey - Canada has low density of population !"
Fact is most of the Canadian population is within a very few hours of the US border ...  plus Australia is a heavily urbanized country.
What the people who help the spread of Covid don't want discussed is that the US simply hasn't tried as hard against Covid as those and many other countries.
Partly because of the gigantic anti-vaxx/anti-mask and Covid Disinformation movements in the US - that's also heavily linked to politics.

In these public forums - they've got rules ... including about politics.
Several years ago chess.com started heavily promoting the club concept -
with most clubs vetoing political and religious discussions ...
Unfortunately - when clubs have been made that allow or encourage politics discussion ...  the clubs are generally run by radicals at one end of the political spectrum - favoring their side ...  or by radicals at the other end.
People who aren't radicals simply aren't interested enough to put in the time - and to find ways to more fairly run such discussion clubs.
And to get enough members and activities.

There's an analogue with car racing too.
Do people go to car races to see the race or to see the accidents ?
Club members and admin teams of political/religious discussion clubs often say they 'don't want Drama' while that's exactly what they want.

But that 'complete' is in the context of tennis only.
Djokovic not vaccinated - advantage to Nadal and Medvedev.
Fischer not willing to play - advantage Karpov.
