I have a ? 4a smart guy. If we're hurt;ling thru space hellafast toward the Destination Unknow Inn, why doesn't our clothes (ozone layer) get ripped offa us ?....u know, expose our bottoms & kill us all instantly ?

In an atom when an electron is forced out of its orbit it becomes 2 photons. Does anybody know how and why that happens.
Had a thought about how to travel to the stars in a life time yeasterday. My method could actually get you there almost immediately. All you would need to do is stop time inside the space ship. Today I figured out how to do it. Within the space ship you construct a large hollow ball or saucer shape. You then spin the ball or saucer to close to the speed of light. Then ,inside the ball ,where the people are, you transfer the slowed time on the ball into the balls internal space. If one could stop time altogether the journey would be instant. In fact you could go anywhere in the universe instantly. Of course everything outside the space ship would age so you would have to say goodbye to friends and family but on the bright side an indexed savings account would make you the richest person on earth.
just the slight problem of finding a material that could be spun to that speed without flying apart
..and an actual way of transferring time
...and a way of producing the energy to spin anything to that speed...
..any who...<sigh>

They are upgrading the LHC. It will be ready in 2026. What we really need is another Einstein to come up with some original thinking instead of all that 'mechanical' science. His mind was like a 3D printer
producing things that can ONLY be produced by 3D printing. This LHC upgrade is a 2D step. They are looking for NEW science...in the same place.

It is a nice thought. But I believe it is wishful thinking. The scientists at the LHC did come up with something new in 2012. The Higgs Field and the Higgs Boson. It is quite an accomplishment to have found a second way that the Universe gives density to energy. The first way is at the molecular level via covalent and ionic bonds. The second way is the recently discovered (2012) Higgs field that gives some subatomic particles density.
Watched a youtube video of a very well informed scientist/journalist commenting on the Big Bang with reference to Einsteins ,so called, biggest mistake ie the Cosmological Constant which ,the removable of, helped prove the Big Bang model. It was reintroduced years ago. Non so blind as those that will not see.

There is a principle:
There are no absolutes. And the exception proves the rule.
In other words there can be no absolute no space and no time. And,the exceptions are our universe and the infinity of universes.
This no absolutes rule eliminates the Big Bang as a viable theory. Einstein's cosmological constant is real. The accelerating expanding universe is one observation of Quasars confirming the cosmological constant.
Grigori Perelman worked out the proof for Poincare' s Conjecture and the more comprehensive Thurston's Geometric Conjecture. The proof thru a concept called Ricci Flow confirms that the universe is infinite. It has no geometric shape or bounds. The proof confirms that it is impossible to determine the shape of the universe.

Spontaneous Symmetry Breakdown is real, 3 Nobel prizes have been awarded. Leonard Susskind at Stanford university in California has been working on a theory that asserts: Einstein-Rosen=Einsten-Podolski-Rosen. It doesn't matter where we are in the process it is all one energy. Whether it is Baryonic matter, Dark matter, dark energy, or any other stage in the spontaneous symmetry breakdown.
Susskind's theory states that random development from planets, stars and galaxies, to Black Holes, to Worm Holes, to Entangled energy and back energy mass creates a void in the entangled energy randomly and the process begins again.
Inside the quantum wave all energy is entangled including electromgnetic waves/photons. Its speed is instantaneous and it might have mass. It has to be in order to seek out an infinity of paths to find the path of least action (stationary action). Outside the collapsed quantum wave the speed of light(also the speed of causality) is 186,000 miles/sec. If the photon had mass under these conditions it would have to be infinitely massive. That condition does not exist. The photon has zero mass outside the collapsed quantum wave.
Your theory that light has a decay factor may be true. It may be true because of spontaneous symmetry breakdown of magnetism. The photon is insulated against spontaneous symmetry breakdown because of the process described above. In other words, light as a whole may have have a decay factor because of spontaneous symmetry breakdown. But, the photon is insulated against this spontaneous symmetry breakdown.
There's facts of the <3. And what does technology hafta do with that ?
fof - As u already know, STEM only solves some stuff in life. As for me ?....I'm not trying to solve anything. I'm out to enjoy the ride of life . Forget the destination.
