All those detectors have searched for Dark Matter without finding it. Billions spent looking for it over decades .

All that mass.  Matter acquires mass in 2 ways in this universe.  First some subatomic particles through the Higgs Field.  The other way is through covalent bonds and ionic bonds at the molecular level.  Maybe we should look at spontaneous symmetry breakdown to explain Dark Matter.  (Dark Matter)  30% of the mass in the universe attracted the 5% of Baryonic matter mass to form Galaxies.  Perhaps Dark Matter is a predecesor of Baryonic matter through spontaneous symmetry breakdown

When we first are taught mathematics we are introduced to dimensions [1st(left-right)],[ 2nd(forward-back)], [3rd(up-down)], etc.)  But we are in an infinite universe.  Grigori Perelman's proof of Poincare's Conjecture and Thurston's Geometrization are mathematics proof that we live in an infinite universe.   Perelman's proof asserts that it is impossible to determine the shape of the universe. Infinity has no bounds.  There is an infinity of dimensions.  Dimensions enable the human brain to analyze abstract mathematical problems.  Dimensions are a crutch that allow us to go to the next analitcal step which is symmetry.  Symmetry is a logical grouping of dimensions.   Reflections and Rotations of dimensions = Group.  Example dividing the human face into equal halves produces a balanced group of reflections and rotations.  In fact Group Theory is the study of symmetry.
