You can say whatever you want to try to convince people that you should not be killed and someone else should. Naturally, the Mafia want to kill the villagers and (unfriendly) neutrals, while the villagers want to kill the Mafia and (unfriendly) neutrals.
If no one receives 9 votes (more that 50% of the living players) before 10 hours pass (24 hours since day 1 started), day 1 will be over, and night 2 will start.
