If we’re talking Iconic, then probably NY. It’s had its fair share of movies and history and not to mention the population.

You don’t sound very loving to me.

Please don’t use bad words here, you can express your opinions without that as well. Please don’t turn this into a political discussion. Also I don’t have anything say about the crime against women/girls. But stop cursing.

As for the best, Alaska. Most historically significant, Pennsylvania or Virginia. Most iconic, Wyoming or Arizona.

Wyoming? I can agree with AZ but why Wyoming? PA and VA are pretty significant. Alaska isn’t the best tho.

There are many states in this world, but I’m assuming the OP meant the USA. Not voting for WY but it is the least populated. Fewer people sounds really good to me.

I find a “ Drunken state “ really cool ✌️😎

Alaska is great....it is probably the last state in the Union that can be considered a frontier. Wyoming is iconic for many reasons.

Having been stationed in Wyoming for a year and half, I'm just going to say:  no.  Not iconic, not "really good".  Take a road trip vacation, see Yellowstone, then drive on through...

This was a typical conservation my co-workers would be having:

"So, Friday night!  What do we want to do?"

"Well, we have the same 4 choices we always have..."

"Already seen the movies at the theater."

"Tired of walking around the mall."

"Okay, well then which will it be...the cowboy bar, or the biker bar?"

...and this was in the state's largest city.  Then there's the 40+ mph winds 200 days of the year...always blowing west to east.

Yep, been there. That’s what keeps people away. I’d rather have wind, snow, and miles of nothing but pronghorn than most people. And no state income tax.

If you are an outdoor person, there is much to do in not-so-populated States like Wyoming and Alaska.

There’s much to do in my garden , it’s looking like a tropical rainforest ! 🙀

In California, you have snowy mountains, rich forests, deserts, beaches, plains, pretty much every environment, all within reachable distance.  And plenty of cities and towns with lots to do, or you can live in the sticks with a Wyoming-like population density just as easily.  Purely better in every meaningful way for an "outdoor person".

I've stripped down a deer and had pig roasts etc. in Wyoming, but you can do that in most states.

If you like Alaska, sure, go to Alaska, it has some unique environs you won't find elsewhere in the states.  Wyoming?  Not really.  You've got Yellowstone, which you can visit.  There's Devil's Tower, which you can visit.  But you can't do a lot of stuff in either of those "unique" locations, nor live there, being national parks.
