Would the world vandalize the Mona Lisa?
Don't do it to the threads on chess.com :(

It would be cool to have a Mona Lisa with my face on it.That clearly tells people who's the boss.By the way, which is crueler, killing one man with a nuke or flamethrower.
Don't come usurp the PAT revolution for your personal cause Ironman...PAT is not against tranquility
Caving into peer pressure,right?
Never, I wouldn't be caught dead sporting one of those idiot leggo things, however no pictures or photos would be a loss to the fora. (Apart from leggo figurines, obviously!)
On the other hand, if it's only old ones who cares, do people actually trawl through fora of yesteryear?
The point is there's no "peer pressure" lol, it's not like we're at a party pressuring you to take you first sip of beer, lol...
And yeah, people do look back at the old threads, which often contain a lot of narrative visual information in the form of pics and charts, graphs etc.
Some people have spent a lot of time to create really good graphics to share on these forums, and the disappearance of those would show that the staff has no respect for the many hours OPs and contributors have spent making cool threads.
btw, Some of these threads have thousands of entries, and numbers of views well into the hundreds of thousands.
And yes I've seen plenty of comments by folks who find a great thread, and go back to read it from the beginning.
So to answer your question, Trag55, who cares? A lot of us.
Well if it matters to you good luck, I wonder how much Chess.com will care about your views? Hasn't V3 run into other problems delaying it's implementation?
I don't know if it ran into ANY other problems. Everything is being tested electronically. One day, the blogs dissapeared, and THAT caused 100 threads HEY?
. one day the trophies dissapeared, and THAT caused 100 threads HEY
. one day the messages wouldn't delete (but they would archive). and THAT caused 100 threads HEY
The ratings adjustments had nothing to do with V3, but THAT caused 12 threads
All those beautiful pages...
