The All time Best Dudley DoRight episode:
Snidely Whiplash creates a Dudley robot, programmed to say Only these 3 things, over and over:
      “Yes, Sir, Inspector Fenwick!"

       “Hello, Nell,”
and this quote from Rudyard Kipling:
“And it’s ’Tommy-this!’ and ’Tommy-that!’ and ‘Chuck him out!  The Brute!’
But ’the Savior of his Country!’ when the Guns begin to Shoot!!’ “

Naturally, no one recognizes the robot as a robot, and inevitably, iit takes over Dudley's job and does a way better job than the real Dudley ever did, but somehow, eventually, the real Dudley is back by the end of the episode.  (I don’t recall a "strong plot” being much of a factor in the series.)

(I don’t know why the Kipling quote tickled me so much that I memorized it, but I was in grad school back then, and I had some time on my hands between semesters.)

Jan Michael Vincent & Ernest Borgnine. In its day, that was a high tech helicopter.

Is that "Room 227"?.....high school?  I remember that show but I was too young to understand where the script was going. They never did an episode on school shootings....... that didn't start to occur until later.
