In reality it is a great idea -
A chat room for teens.
They need a place to socialize- separate from the forums. Possibly the OP saw another topic where such a proposal was suggested. It was observed how easily/often educational topics can get sidetracked by general banter and the usual trolling commonly seen.
A chat room, perhaps several based on interests is a great idea !
I’m obviously not a teen - so nothing further to add except to 2nd the motion !!
