Ordoism (By Balviboy)

Welcome, thread viewer, here I will be discussing my idea for an ideal government (nothing political or something to cause arguments, simply my opinion). I am sorry if you find this offensive or something, but if you want to argue, keep it to dms and not this thread.

So, what is Ordoism?
One day, me and a friend came up with the idea to add ranks as jobs. When we came up with this, we decided to keep adding to it because it was a pretty call idea. Ordoism comes from the Latin word ordo (or ordoi I can’t remember) which means ranks or tiers. We then added the ism.

Ordoism separates jobs into categories (1-5) where the jobs incrementally get harder and pay incrementally less. To start, you must control all businesses in a country, and you must have moral leaders. Of course, every (including me) probably will get power-hungry eventually but that’s not what this is about. To rise a category, you must complete a test. We want pay to be equal and high so there is little poverty, but some people might prefer other jobs, so the leaders of the country have to manually increase pay in some jobs. This is the basic idea, a way for greedy people to get into the government (because there is little increase in pay but more increase in work. It is also easier just to jump onto high paying jobs than work hard). This should bring out the moral people.

And that’s basically it. Thanks for reading and if Im banned, I will make another account (please don’t mods).

Bump because no one ever saw this
Wnder_of_U

i just read it, i like the idea, and the name of it is smart bro good job

Balviboy
Thanks, we spent like an hour discussing and I’ve been thinking about it for months.
BasixWhiteBoy

That's an interesting idea. But would this really bring out more moral people?

Wnder_of_U

lol it seems pretty well contructed u can feel the passion and time put in it even if its only a few paragraph, u should condece ur ifeas better with more clear ideas tho, my opinion tho

Wnder_of_U

probably no, u cant really control people every govement got problems

Balviboy
#5 there are deeper ideas, for instance the knowledge to become a leader is grabbed by reading history books that aren’t in a curriculum, something lazy people won’t do. Any career information like money income and hours is not spread and tier 4-5 has no extra income but you control multiple businesses in your area of expertise. This increase workload for no benefits and since there are 0 taxes and lots of money, anyone particularly greedy will just switch to jobs the government wants.
Balviboy
#7 yeah, even here if you are power hungry we can’t really find out, so corrupt people can still enter government level, especially if they are cunning
Johnny_Hopper

Yes, I love that part of every government! Yes!

Wnder_of_U

mmm thats bad but i guess thats how every works, u csnt really control people, and if u add to much norms ur probably gonna look like a dictator

Johnny_Hopper

Huh?

Balviboy
Yeah, I would consider my self not power hungry. This leads to one major problem however. Since I can’t control my people too strictly, there could be freelancers. This is income out of control which could persuade people to do it and remove the countries work force.

Last bump I swear
DevinSuckAtChess

Thanks a lot

Update:

I will now begin making a book describing this to the entire world. Most likely, I will not be able to publish, or even finish it, but if I can’t publish I will paste a copy here. In the meantime, feel free to tell me any problems with this, or if it’s too similar to something else

BasixWhiteBoy

Very interesting! I hope the book succeeds and you enjoy writing and sharing your ideas.

I still don't understand why the jobs get harder and pay less when the ranks are higher.

Balviboy
It shall all be explained. I will even use the USSR as an example to how it is better or possibly worse
