OTF History Thread Release Date!

Yes, that’s right, I’m getting ready to release it. I was planning of doing some reasearch today but I had a sudden change of plans. Release date is on Sunday this week.

Anyone who is excited for this (basically just Basix) I could use some help. Anyway, have a good day/night.

Actually did something today which was learning about some names from 2011. Research more tomorrow.

If you want to help, give me events or people you can remember as well as when it happened. Thanks for any help anyone gives.

Update: Chess.com has severely limited me. A huge problem occurs that when searching stuff up, even with the specific name on a person, what they have commented on does not come up, instead a the precise words that have been mentioned. Now, this does I believe circumnavigate closed or ‘deleted’ threads, and if mode you see this, I request you keep this.

This means however that simply searching their name will not cut it. What’s even worse is that closed accounts don’t help at all, and deleted can’t be seen at all, which is just terrible for me. I need to know specific names to find their profile, only to see their last five things theyve been active on? Terrible. All in all, I have a severely limited scope, which will be massively limiting this project until I find a bypass or new method.

This also means the release date could be delayed

Can you use the browser?

I am, these problem occur on browser, some of what I have done wouldn’t even be possible without browser :( insane how little chess.com has ignored the usability of search or finding something.

Update: Just procrastinated today, will do that tomorrow and on Sunday, then proceed to never do it.
