I mean it would work in theory but in practice I think it would just fall off. No offence to you fries or anyone else but I think there would be disputes and who would be the owner of the club. Not as much activity would happen and for spammers and other problem causes, you could just ignore them instead of going to drastic lengths.

Honestly I've already got plans in mind for club "leadership", we'll probably just do a wheel of names every once in a while for owner... (ofc it'd only be among people who'd be capable of doing that anyway).
Or you could just have a “board of directors” who oversee the whole club and manage voting for new owners (as well as act as a parliament), and entrust Fries—as the creator of the whole thing— as the first president.
