Also infinite

Ok, and I tried something else, also infinite. Is this possible?

yes. It should bring you to two whole number solutions.

And now I got 1 = 0.2

I’m really bad at this

only one is viable in context though

Never mind, I got something different

this is a probability question at its core. The total counters is x so the chance of getting blue on the first draw is 7/x . This might be enough of a hint.

I got -13y/13y = 0.2 where did I go wrong

Have you heard of probabiliy trees? They will help visualise the problem

#416 lot simpler than what I did. Using that, we know that 7/x X 6/x-1 = 0.2 right
Avatar of Balviman
#418, yes, but I’m not very good at most maths. If I do anything, it has to be simple, or it’s not gonna work. Or it has to be nth terms.

yup. You should be able to get it using algebra now.

Avatar of Balviman
#421 yeah, I struggle to find that starting part. I do have to go now though, so I won’t be able to solve

Some people think that all testing on animals for anything is morally unjustifiable. What do you think?

Avatar of martinsmthn
Testing on domesticated animals is wrong, but testing on undomesticated animals, I don't see an issue with that, as long as the reason for the testing is for something beneficial to humanity. I would add that testing on any endangered animal would be wrong, as well, even if undomesticated.
Avatar of PointlessR
wild animals can suffer just as much as domesticated ones though.

If you are referring to an expanding universe, then I agree. There is no other place to go so we aren't "trapped". However I don't think that is the problem people have with an epanding universe.

Hot take: meat should be banned. Thoughts?
