The Green Mile is a good movie. I remember watching Shawshank and that movie back-to-back a few years ago.

In the Blink of an Eye (2026) now streaming on Disney+

Seemingly unrelated timelines: an anthropologist who discovers a Neanderthal’s funerary object; and a lone caretaker managing hydroponics aboard a deep space colony ship share one common thread.

The events of each timeline were interesting and held my attention, but the ending statements about mortality giving life “meaning” seemed really hackneyed and the ending came across as mawkish. The timelines reminded me a little of Cloud Atlas (2012) and the show DEVS. I liked it overall.

I forgot to post this about a week ago, but I watched the Oscar-winning ‘One Battle After Another’, and it’s definitely a 5-star for me. I’d recommend it to anyone who enjoys drama films with lots of action and a lot of suspense.

Has anyone seen any movies in the last few weeks?

I watched Goodfellas over the past two days, and I can honestly say that it’s one of my favorite movies I’ve ever seen. The creativity behind the entire movie, and the fact that the story and people were real makes the movie even better.

The movie has lots of language and violence, so keep that in mind if you wish to watch.

I think my sister saw that movie last year. I remember her talking about how sad the ending was.

It's been a while since this has been posted on, but I'll bump this to share a movie I really enjoyed recently.

I watched Inglourious Basterds (2009) a few days with my dad, and it was definitely one of my favorite movies. It combined important pieces of history with constant action and a sense of thrill, which made it really amazing to watch. I'd say this is certainly a 'must-watch' in terms of cinema.
