Our cat is a spider hunter. He means business.

Our cat takes his job as spider hunter, protector of the household, very seriously, and he is an expert.  He eats them.  He chases spiders that scare people and eats them.  He moves like a Kung Fu master.  He's got an air of class.  His expressions are inscrutible. He's got the kind of stare that sees through you.  He looks very serious, brooding.  If you are a stranger and he doesn't know you, he can out stare you and give nothing away.  He is a Tuxedo Cat.  As a tuxedo cat, he is more vocally communicative than other breeds.  He's loyal.  He's a family man.  He likes his creature comforts. If he really trusts you he will only then show you his gentle eyes, his eccentric curmudgeonly gratitude. He is gentle and affectionate rolls on his back and likes belly rubs.

But if he sees a spider, forget it, this cat transforms into a cross between David Carradine (from the old  Kung Fu series) a professional body guard, and James Bond 007, with a one track mind.  GET THE SPIDER.  He goes from this casual laid back animal into this hopped of machine of silky grace, like a limber massaged heavy weight boxer who can move like lightning and pounce like multiple karate in 3D.
