One of my favorite paradoxes is Bonini's paradox. It essentially states that there is no perfect model, or simulation, because the goal of those is simplification. In this process, simplifying leaves out details (even "minor" ones), but these details lead to imperfection.

An example would be something like a map of the world. What scale would you use? To condense everything on the page (or whatever you create the map on), then you must simplify and thus leave things out. Therefore, the only perfect model is an exact duplicate of the world on a 1:1 ratio - and this would defeat the purpose of the model (map) if somehow accomplished! The only thing to model itself perfectly is the very thing itself.
