The way I look at it is you can either go down the supernatural route, or, just take each thing on its own merit and everything can usually be put down to coincidence or some logical reason

I could tell you lots of things were two people in the same situation, one sees ghostly or spooky things and the other sees the actual thing that happened.

I mean if you believe that sort of thing, you're more open to be frightened by something that's perfectly normal.
