This is how I see a pawn promotion: there is NO OTHER WAY to see in a different way.
"PROMOTION" means the pawn (male) becomes A BETTER PERSON (the queen, female), which is the powerful piece in chess.
This rule makes some questions that NEED to be answered officially by FIDE:
1 - The pawn promotion rule suggests every man want to be a girl?
2 - This rule suggests the man is inferior than woman?
3 - This rule suggests every soldier is gay or want to be a woman?
I think every chess player should ask FIDE to pronounce about this important question.

If you'll wrote to Fide they simply not reply. What you have to do is to become member of the commission. Just begin with arbiter or association president or professional player, then try to be elected step by step in order to achieve to become member of the Rule Fide commission.

marco it can be a magic made by acient kings that queens are strongest piece and when a pawn reaches on 8th rand there is no value of pawn so the rule is made. queens are made because i think one day somebody said queen cannot do anything not even fight so making a request that queen may said do something and said in chess we will put q as the strongest piece form nowards.
