Interesting, but ultimately it's just another escape. And the conclusion of the movie is completely false, for what we're talking about here.

 One would rather say, the more we search for truth the more we miss it!

.. One gets the impression, that when it comes to making, ones Own mind 'still'; Which for Many.. Involves, some approximation, of contentedness.. That, any formula, that does Not agree, with your Own 'Perception' <- {key word}, of how it's to be done, is either erroneous, misleading, or both!? - No, one-size-fits-All, {if we're to respect the word meaning, of 'perception', among, more than 1 person}.. Any more than, Everyone liking the same brand or ingredients, for a given edible, or drink !

.. It must be, the Rare mind, {'troy's alone ?!}, that can find, 'peace' by your own method.. Even if, how it's to be achieved; Is couched in language, that's obviously 'Clear' & doable, mainly, to 'troy'!?

.. Also, by your definition/ previous content, of your own writings ; Meditating, on the 'Prince-of-Peace'.. Is merely, another form, of largely fictional, fantasizing !? .. Wow .. some method !?

"This Peace, I give unto you ; Not, as the world gives.. But, the Peace that passeth, all understanding." .. Believe it ; Or Not !

Methods exist to get you from point A to point B. But when point A is fixed and point B is constantly moving, a method is useless.

  And we are talking about a true change in perception, not a superficial one--I believe in this, tomorrow in that,going through whatever change life makes one go through, BUT within the same parameters. For instance, one may change with regards to this or that, now he's hopping from bar to bar, but in 5 years he becomes a 'responsible' father and so on. But within these so-called changes in perception the basic structure remains the same, doesn't it?

 He still doesn't know who he is, beyond his about himself, which isn't worth a penny; he still follows authority, believes in an outside factor capable (and willing) to mold his life in a specific way and lives in fear 'till he dies. These fundamental things never change in his perception--attached to this, identified with that and so on.

  And we are saying that there is a perception in which all of the above simply doesn't exist. That is all we are saying. It has nothing to do with what a moron called troy calls perception. 

 We are looking at the most fundamental structures of the human mind. IF THOSE STRUCTURES DON'T CHANGE, PERCEPTION REMAINS THE SAME.

 Ok, so first things first: is there somebody here who is interested in a change in perception?

  Every post is a first. We just reached a crossroads where one can either talk to someone in particular, or look at a general example of a human being.

 That's why we asked that question, we shall see.

.. It's probably safe-to-say, that 'perceptions', and how we rate them, for relevance.. Are as varied, as what people collectively feel, is important ! - Even as it relates, to this mystery, {of varying perceived magnitudes}; Of 'man', & conciousness ! o:

My perception of the world is we are a primitive species. The internet has changed the perception of how is see myself and other people.Its a hard pill to swallow when you perceive certain truths that other people dont see,lol. Interesting thread.
