What about it? Personally, I stopped following it after Sinnoh because the Pokemon themselves are too weird for me and I have trouble accepting Fairy type. If a new type was "discovered" then I could go with it, but renaming older Pokemon (like Jiggypuff) as Fairy-type changes it too much for me.
To be fair, I think they did make some nice additions and character designs. For example, I like how TMs are no longer single use.
I guess I just have nostalgia for Pokemon back from "the good old days."
