“In a situation of total uncertainty, when I know nothing about what to expect next, copying someone else improves my performance. Either this other person shares my ignorance and my expected outcome is the same, or the other person does turn out to know something, in which case my imitating him improved my situation.”

My nefoo... who is 12 years old, wanted a plain sheet of paper not so long ago.  So, he went to his dad's computer, switched it on, opened Microsoft Office and printed a blank page out in Word.  So proud!

In times of euphoric economic optimism, big risky investments are made, most of those will fail, but those that survive could bring big benefits to society, therefore, a pro-bubble argument exist. Even when a crash usually follows a bubble, there are going to be game-changing industries that started during the bubble, so maybe, bubbles shouldn´t need to be avoided.

My 5-year old cousin said today: "My dad doesn't even know how to make a pizza, heh. He even forgot to put some keputch on it."

In 1948 the creation of the National Health Service was one of the defining moments in UK history.  The nation decided that it would collectively provide healthcare for its entire people as a right. The principles that drove those NHS pioneers are now over 67 years old and I'm proud to affirm they still hold true.

A selection of the best cow jokes ever told in our house:

What has four legs and says ‘Boo’? ...A cow with a cold.

What’s the difference between a duck and a cow? ...They both swim, except for the cow.

What’s the difference between a hamster and a cow? ...Cows survive the branding.
What has one horn and gives milk? ...A milk lorry.

One of the best sentences I've ever seen.

"For the wages of sin were visible everywhere, in every wine-stained and urine-splashed hallway, in every clanging ambulance bell, in every scar on the faces of the pimps and their whores, in every helpless, newborn baby being brought into this danger, in every knife and pistol fight on the Avenue, and in every disastrous bulletin: a cousin, mother of six, suddenly gone mad, the children parcelled out here and there; an indestructible aunt rewarded for years of hard labor by a slow, agonizing death in a terrible small room; someone’s bright son blown into eternity by his own hand; another turned robber and carried off to jail."
