I was 8 when The Wall came out. I remember hearing Another Brick in the Wall (part 2) and it kind of scared the heck out of me. When the kids were singing it was a bit frightening.

Apart from Piper at the Gates of Dawn and a saucerful of secrets a very average mainstream band IMO.
There's something about the Animals album I really love. Don't know if I'd put it over Dark side, but it's right there, for me.
Their music endures .... true Rock Classics.
I like over 9000 pink floid songs.

I like Wish You Here... two lost souls... but then I can't think of a Pink Floyd song I don't like. This song is my daughter's namesake... she found it in her search for Emily songs. It was written by Syd Barrett... from the early days... kind of reminiscent of the Moody Blues...
