What things do you think will happen in the next year?  Next 10 years?  50 years? Etc.

I doubt it, lol

But I can imagine the following within the next decade:

Another pandemic

Regulation on AI becomes more serious

Virtual models, pop stars and actors increases

Chatbot, VR and AI romantic relationships increases

Some jobs start to change or outright be replaced by AI and automation

The crazy, worldly stuff will settle down for a little while and people will start enjoying life again. Things tend to balance out over time. Then after some time, when people start to forget about the bad times and everyone is comfortable some crap will bring everyone down again. The cycle of life

The loss of competitive chess forever bc its impossible to stop cheaters, unimaginable consequences around the globe when the rainforests are completely destroyed and the polar ice caps melt, mass extinctions of animal and plant life, I should stop now this is just me being all paranoid.

- Mass climate change lockdowns.

- Periodic internet shutdowns

- Only people with good social credit scores will have access to the internet, supermarkets and banks.

- A lot of people will have relationships with machines.

- Only the most creative/innovative musicians and artists will be able to have recording/visual careers (but live music will become more popular.)

- No more physical currency.

- Microchips in the brain.

- Long term people will no longer be able to read and write.

Eventually there will be large scale revolutions.

If I'm off base with this I think it will be because what will actually happen will be even stranger.

We will fall into a dystopian nightmare planned by the upper classes but instigated by the lower classes

Obviously then you haven't been paying attention. For example: Elon Musk is already planning brain chips. And banks are already closing accounts for having the wrong political opinions.
