I have thought from time to time about giving up chess to play Skyrim. It's those dragons. They want me to fight them non stop. They goad me into picking up the nearest axe and swinging it at them.
Farmville? could be worse. He could be giving up chess to play leisure suit larry.

Well I never did get into the farmville thing but sometimes I still play ship simulator or train simulator, after all it is important to keep the ships and trains moving lol.
Well as I'm stuck in the house more recently I've gone back to playing some Texas-hold-em-poker on-line, however for points only lol.
Yup I'm playing a few hands of Poker on-line most evenings, lots of fun.
As I mentioned above I nearly lost the use of my old PC some months back due to a technical problem. So far I haven't got around to downloading the games that I had in the machine before it went blank. I did however download my Chessmaster Game so I am able to play against that game from time to time ( one of these days I will get the other games back too and have even more fun ! ).
Well this old PC is still limping along like a car with a flat. Then again this thread is not doing too well either, not even 25 posts ( I hear an echo in here lol ).

Thanks for the recent posts. Yes there are a lot of fun games out there and of course one certainly can use up a lot of time with them. Plus there are other internet activities that demand time such as Youtube. The amount and variety of music, the items of historical interest and on and on, Youtube is nearly endless. So much info, so little time lol.
