"Please Resign" button for Online Chess

I know that technical mastery comes form constant training, but in games with 3 days time control mating procedures effecting either from blunders or weak play are utterly boring, and exhausting, and Wonder if nagging for prompt resignation (you know, gentleman choice) is far more rude than apathetic time abuse in somehow delirious expectation of counter blunder or time out or resurrection of Marilyn Monroe...who knows? Having "Please Resign" button, avaiable only when tragism was detected on the board, would be phenomenally helpful to keep attention away from some hopelessly prolonged games.

or just be a way to abuse your opponent endlessly

This post is confusing.  What is a "tragism" and what is the point, or the effect, of a "Please Resign" button?

You can always post something in chat to your opponent.  But in general I think asking your opponent to resign, by whatever means, is not a good idea.  Just play the game.
