I know what it looks like lol, I just find French cuisine and culture fascinating. Anyways the main issue was the bad attitude towards people of France. What’s up with that?

Oh I didn't read your other post. The love-hate thing between Britain and France became a bit tricky lately with the ultra-aggressive stance on fishing rights. I think that the popularity of Britain and France is like a see-saw! At the moment, the French are unpopular, then it'll be the Germans and then us. We're fond of each other really!

Change flag and avatar to other countries, see if people are "racist" against the french race or they just A-holes and use the first best insult they can find.
I used to have the Swedish flag and never got negative comments.

That is strange, I can think about a couple of nationalities which some people may have problems with but french would never get on my list. In any case, report. Bad behavior should not be tolerated.
I believe that the French have had a reputation, deserved or not, in some circles for being snooty. A friend of mine is multilingual, English, Russian, French, and Latin. On a trip to France I guess her accent wasn't quite right and was told by someone to stop trying to speak French if she didn't know how to speak it properly. As far as I am concerned, comments of the nature Jalex reports on this web site are out of bounds. That's the problem with the internet, anonymity brings out the worst in a lot of people.

Surely, the flag is about one's, current, nationality and not some kind of ethnicity badge?! And the poster/spammer before proves that most post are not racism, just lazy trolling.

I’m not deceiving anyone, I’m fitting my online persona. There are tons of guys on this site who put flags of countries they are not from. Someone entering my direct messages to make racist comments is quite unwarranted, regardless of where I’m from, and they don’t know I’m not from France unless I tell them.
