Lucas: It should thunder… NOW!

*Thunder Crackles*

Lucas: Hand me that 5!

Daniel: Ha, ha, ha, yeah.

Hailey: Wow, you lost another bet to him, who could’ve guessed?

Daniel: It’s just a 5. I have a job, anyway, so y’know I’ve got some to spare.

Lucas: I’ve been hacking this free money glitch since forever.

William: The moon does look nice. It doesn’t feel so nice, though.

Bailey: When your clothes are soaked, and you look STUPID, don’t say I didn’t tell you so. GET BACK INTO YOUR TENT.

William: No. The view is way better out here! And-

*Hailey’s phone rings and she picks it up*

Hailey’s Mom: Hey, honey! How’s it going at Will’s house?

Hailey: Oh, it’s going well. Why are you calling?

Sandra (still Hailey’s Mom): I wanted to ask you, when are you coming home? You forgot to tell me when you and Bailey left.

Hailey: Oh, um, I was actually gonna ask you if we could… stay the night?

Sandra: Hmm, it is a Friday night, so, y’know what? Go for it!

Hailey: Thank you, Mom!

Sandra: You’re welcome, sweetie. Bye!

Hailey: Bye! *Hangs up the call*

Qynn: *Signs* What did she say?

Hailey: Sighs *Signs* Qynn, where are your hearing aids?

Qynn: *Signs* Will has them. He said I didn’t need them right now because we’re here for the view.

Hailey: William, give Qynn her hearing aids RIGHT NOW.

William: She doesn’t need them though-

*Hailey grabs Will*

Hailey: GIVE THEM TO HER.

William: Fine! *Throws the hearing aids to Qynn*

Qynn: It feels nice to hear.

Hailey: Ya, I’m sure it does.

*Time skip to that Monday at school*

*They all meet up at the outdoors section*

William: Hey, guys!

Hailey: Hi Will, hey, babe.

Qynn: Hi, Hailey!

*Hailey kisses Qynn on the cheek*

Bailey: Me personally, I could never be lesbian, but that's just me, y’know.

Lucas: Good morning, everyone! How’re you guys doing?

Daniel: I’m doing well, Lou!

Bailey: Same here.

Qynn: I’m good.

Uriah: Hi, guys!

Qynn: Hi, Ri! Why weren’t you at Will’s house on Friday?

Uriah: Wait, you guys were at- *Breathes* it seems like I WASN’T invited *looks at William*

William: You would’ve just been unnecessary drama.

Uriah: THIS is unnecessary drama, William.

William: *mocks* This is UnNeCeSsArY drama.

*They see kids running into school and go in too*

Lucas: Hey, Qynn, I’ve noticed that whenever you speak, even without your hearing aids, you still kinda move your hands as if you’re doing symbols.

Qynn: Oh, well, it’s just instinct, I guess.

Lucas: Okay. Welp, gotta get to English, peace!

Qynn: Bye!

*Time skip to 4th period*

Cindy: *Whispers* Hey, Uriah, pass this to Will.

Uriah: What is it?

Cindy: Don’t read it! Just pass it to him.

Uriah: Ugh, fine. *Passes it to William.* It’s from Cindy.

William: Oh, um, ya, um, okay.

Uriah (thinking): Will is usually much more confident than this. OHHHHH, Of course, he likes Cindy, and she probably likes him! Well, at least that’ll keep his mind off of stupid drama.

*Scene change to Daniel in a one-person bathroom*

*Daniel starts crying*

Daniel: *Whispers to himself* I-I can’t do this. 

Lucas: *Knocks on the door* Hey Daniel, you okay? 

Daniel (thinking): Did he hear that??

Daniel: *Clears his throat* Yeah, I’m fine.

Lucas: You’ve been in the bathroom for a while.

Daniel: I’m… Fine.

*Time skip AGAIN to Bailey and Daniel texting*

Bailey: Hey Dan, um, Ik that you like Lucas.

                                                                         Daniel: What? Who told you that?

Bailey: Well, it’s ngl obvious tbh. Yall so gay in this friend group, I swear💀

                                                                          Daniel: Well, I don’t.

Bailey: Oh, okay, sure, Daniel. Just know I know.

*Bailey goes off the text*

Bailey: Like that guy must think we’re stupid or something. I wonder if anyone else knows.

*Daniel on a call with Hailey*

Daniel: HAILEY SHE KNOWS SHE KNOWS SHE KNOWS WHAT DO I DO?

Hailey: First of all, calm down. Second of all, who knows what?

Daniel:  Bailey knows that I like Lucas.

Hailey: How?? 

Daniel: I don’t know!

Hailey: Did you tell her the truth?

*Daniel hears his door creak open*

Hailey: Daniel, hello?

Daniel: I’ll, um, call you back.

(This is my first time making a non-horror story, so I’m all for constructive criticism! Just don’t get mad abt how the stry is written bc i rlly don’t care.) (Also, this thing is kinda just an experiment to see how I'll do so if this is like horribly received, then I don't need to make more fr)
