Remembering my Beloved Cat Sammy :)

Hello there chess.com. Just recently, about 2 months ago, my beloved cat Sammy passed away at the age of 17 years old. He has been, for about 2 years, going through a disease called EPI syndrome which caused him to lose  weight rapidly and become very hungry. We tried many things but in the end, old age finally caught up to him. All my life, I've had animals living with me so its a bit hard not having him with me.

We have had so much fun together in the past :). I can remember when he would jump onto my bed to wake me up by licking my nose and chin and rubbing his face against mine while purring to wake me up. I remember when we went out to play stick chase :). I would drag a stick across the ground and he would run after it and start beating it up with his paws like a predator XD haha. He was a gentle cat though :). At least, when he wasn't looking at birds from inside the house XD hahaha. He would do his chitter chatter XD.

I am posting this as a reminder for myself to remember all the happy moments :). I love you Sammy and I miss you but you are with your other brothers and sister up in Cat Heaven. May everyday be sunny and beautiful :). May you chase butterflies everyday and lay in fields of catnip.

I know how you feel , My cat dizzy was 22 when she died .... I miss her every day ..... :(

I wish for nothing but the best for her up in cat heaven. May her days be filled with happiness as she sees the other cats up there and runs through fields of catnip and she sunbathes in the warm sunlight :).
