What's particularly scary to me is that he was super young. In fact he was only a few years older than me. It's very sobering to realize that no on will live forever.

This came as a big surprise when I found out about it. Rest in peace, Charlie. I know that he is in Heaven now, but I thought that he would be around longer. His family is in my prayers.

Yeah, we probably should. Unfortunately, too many people are clinging desperately to a 250-year-old Constitution and picking and choosing what parts of it to follow.
I’m not sure how hard it is to understand that guns are a problem. In counties where they either don’t have guns or they’re heavily managed by very trusted people, they have a lower gun death rate.
