No problem :)
Ps. I challenged you to 960chess.
Yeah It's easy. just practise. You won't believe how good you will be in just a few days of practise. And when you get to at least 1min below, you can get to serious stuff, like so->

Yeah I declined because I am trying to get away from the 960 games for a while. Hold on a sec, I'll issue a new challenge for Standard chess

OK. And accepted

I've got a 5x5x5 and 4x4x4 cubes as well as a 3x3x3 with a picture (which is more difficult to solve because of the rotating center pieces), but not yet that 6x6x6 above.

I have a 3x3 zhanchi, 2x2 zhanchi, 4x4 shengshou (unmoded), pyraminx, mirror cube (shengshou) and planing to buy megaminx.
i like to cube, my current record is 52 seconds and i use a stickerless Dayan Zhanchi.
What method are you using?
One of my friends sent me that link, but as an avid fan of The Onion, I knew before I even opened the link that there would be a joke involved! I clicked anyway, just for the laugh. I enjoy reading The Onion - Sometimes I think that their satiracal news is actually of better quality than that of the serious news (FOX, CNN, MSNBC, etc.)
Mr.Math....was that before or after you put it in the oven?
Oh, no, I just "accidentally" broke a corner off.
My record is 17sec, learned from the dan brown tutorial on YouTube. It really helps. And Tony, that rubix cube has two red centers so it is impossible to solve.
my personal best is 3 minutes, but my nephew was world class. He still solves in less than 15 secs, has a personal best in competition about 8 secs, and does blindfold in under a minute. For a month or so, he had the 4x4 blindfold world record.

Jimmykay: Your nephew apparently has a gift of memory, specifically photographic memory, if he manages it blindfolded and can solve it so fast. As I posted earlier, I watched a YouTube video where the guy looked over the cube (a 3x3) for only 3 seconds, and then pulled a blindfold over his eyes and solved the puzzle in 18 seconds during the WCA (World Cube Association) Championship. Was incredible to see a person able to do that! I've only managed to solve the green side... just to screw it up again...
I've refrained from having the Cube in my hand while watching the video tutorials up to this point, because I think it would be more of an accomplishment to solve it on my own, but it is darn tempting to sit down and go step by step with the videos. They've provided me with great advice on what to do, but again, I want to challenge myself. Your 3 minute time is quite impressive. Did you watch any tutorials or read any of the various websites to achieve that, or did you learn all on your own? (Same question about your nephew)
Thank you Pelaaja, appreciate you sharing that link!
