it is a common trait of humanity to hide their feelings
so nobody hurts them emotionally, I felt true ‘sadness’ when my hockey coach, who was very close to me died. Same thing when my grandfather was diagnosed with cancer. This is not what I consider truly ‘sad’ mostly just “oh well”
