Sleep Needs

People on low-sodium diets have no trouble with their nervous systems; your daily sodium needs are quite low.
EndgameEnthusiast2357

Ur nerve cells depend on a sodium-potassium pump, so sodium is essential

Yes, the human body requires chromium too, it doesn't mean you should be gobbling the stuff up all the time.
EndgameEnthusiast2357

Sodium is way more essential than chromium.

I had a full lucid sleep experience a couple nights ago. I had woken up at around 4:30am and went back to sleep at around 6, and as I was falling back asleep, I was fully conscious and aware that I was still awake, and Still conscious even into a dream. I was astonished that I knew I was lying down, still awake, aware if day/time, yet I could feel as if I were standing up and moving around in the dream. The dream was very simple, realistic, vivid, and accurate to reality (inside of my grandmothers' house). It was like a total simulation, Like I fell through a wormhole. I was like how the hell could I be seeing stuff and feeling like I was standing up when I had my eyes closed and was lying down in bed and not asleep yet? It didn't end there. I stayed in lucid dream state for about 2 hours, never actually falling asleep. I had intense vertigo and feelings of ripples moving through my head and body and some difficulty moving. Not pleasant/restful. I have had lucid dreams many times before, but was NEVER ever conscious the whole transition into a dream from an awake state and it never lasted 2 hours continuously. Amazing, but not restful

Best sleeping hours are from 11:30 to 9am

Look quality hours beat quantity... Just avoid a huge class load... I get wonderful insights in my sleep... Sometimes I find solutions to academic and practical problems, or a different option of how to look at things in general... Sleep is important...
EndgameEnthusiast2357

I know, quality matters more, you need a certain amount of deep sleep and rem sleep in repeating cycles every night, but the total is usually good at 8 1/2 to 10 hours

EndgameEnthusiast2357

For how long? A month, year?

MegaCats159

I usually get 13 hours of sleep...

EndgameEnthusiast2357

Nice, I can't usually sleep more than 11 hours

I've been having weird lucid/ outer body dreams recently, like about 10 times now. I would feel my body become almost massless, and start moving either forward or down, and now I've gotten to the point where I can control what direction I can fly in and how fast. However, I cannot go through walls in these dreams, so it's definitely not real outer-body. I also can force my eyes open while in LUCID REM sleep and I can see my bedroom, but the image breaks up very fast in flashes or random colors and I get dizzy fast and cannot move, but now I can scan the room for up to 10 seconds at a time while asleep. Really Weird
