I don't know why they call it Soccer. Maybe, just maybe because there is a Goalie. For me, it's Football because they are using their foot/feet to play and to score. They don't use the hands except when they are out of bounce to pass it inside.
In NFL (American), they call it football but in reality that is Rugby sports. In Europe, they call it Rugby. Only in USA, they call it football and all other countries especially in Europe, they call it Rugby.
It's Football for me.
