I hate when people think that World War 2 is a joke. It annoys me to no avail. There was some Instagram "influencer" who claimed World War 2 shouldn't be taught in schools. It was too "frightening". What the heck? WHAT? "Too frightening"? You should try, just try to go be in the trenches when you are 16 while 3,000 Germans are attacking. The real world is frightening. World War 2 isn't a joke. There was also a youtube video about a Tiger attack on a Sherman. There was only one, but Americans thought that every tank they came across was one. So people started making fun of it. "Bruh every tank isnt a german get a life". Oh here comes a German tank, so let's take out the identification chart and see what tank it is, and put it in the logbook! Yay! It just makes me mad.
I don't know what it was like. But I know it wasn't fun, and it deserves respect, not jokes.
