I suppose is a bit early to talk about the up coming AFL Grand final, which will be in September. Mind you, Fremantle and West Coast are doing quite well so far.

That was a nice goal by Canada against Netherlands a few minutes ago. Pretty tense game;)
Watching the Stanley Cup atm.

It was a great game! It ended up 1-1 tie, which means the host country Canada advances to the final 16 teams/knockout stages;)

Oh yes, I've seen that thread before, kco. I don't know any of the teams well. I don't decide which team I'm rooting for until I sit down to watch a game. I've only seen maybe six or seven games from this world cup so far:)
Hawks win. Let's hope the city isn't burned.

Japan--Netherlands
Chambers Bay (US Open) is drawing mixed reviews from players. The USGA took a big chance here, playing it on an unknown course that is only seven or eight years old.
Fox's coverage is weak (first time having golf-and it's a major). Commentators speaking over player-caddie conversations. Yesterday, there was a 20-30 minute retrospective of Tiger's history at the Open-while players are on the course. Who watches golf on a Thursday? Golf addicts. Duh.
