Story Maker

In this texting game, we will make up a story – one sentence at a time. One person starts the story with a line. The other player adds to the story with another line. This game can go on for as long as the players want or when the story comes to a logical stopping point. I wanted to try this with the chess.com community, so here we go!

I'll go first.

Once upon a time, there was a walking castle.

Now add on your own sentences!

It was the envy of stationary castles throughout the kingdom. 

But it had one flaw. It wouldn't allow anyone to go inside it!

Many times the Kings and soldiers came to try to occupy the castle but each time it lifted its drawbridge and strode away, its enormous granite legs leaving huge craters which pock marked the landscape with every step. 

One day, the Kings decided to occupy the walking castle by brute force.

Silently approaching in the dead of night and using an elaborate system of pulleys and levers secured by their huge army of war elephants, they rendered the castle immobile and began to scale the walls and turrets. 

the castle woke up.

It had the eyes of a dragon, and... (idk what to put here so someone continue it)

and the teeth of a shark.

It glanced up at the sky, and with a whack! the clouds fell down. 

Now, the door of the castle is blocked by huge and heavy clouds. 

The trees shook, the soldiers ran, and the castle galloped on to a distant but dangerous land where there were people armed with everything from rubber ducks to toy airplanes, from sticks to elephants.

And then these people stopped posting comments to finish up the story.
