All anyone wanted was for 2q to follow the site rules he agreed to when he joined.

That is one big plus for the mods for this site. Since I've been a member, I have encountered a small number of very annoying individuals who either ask for help just to get the attention, high jack a thread so the original poster (a new member) gives up on getting a bit of help, or are simply degrading to others with pompous attitudes and vulgar vocabulary.

I don't see any of these members on here now. That's a good thing.

Good job, mods. trophies.png

" was there any days when you wernt making negative comments in 2qs threads ?                               Actually yes.  We had just agreed to a boycott of his threads when he made mention of the 2nd account. Everyone's ears perked up with...."What"?surprise.png   He tried to deflect with a fabricated lie saying Chess.com had sent his brother a warning. Look, this was a convaluted affair that took 3 months to unravel. I don't think it was one thing that got him muted. It was a multitude of things that accumulated. When he challenged the site with the proclamation of  "I'll never get muted",   well, I think that was the straw that broke the camels back. I think you're confusing what we disliked about him with what the site acted on. The site is very forgiving and they don't take mutings lightly. WE  didn't get him muted. HE  did that all by himself.  It took 2 mutings but they got me to clean up my languagehappy.png

This has happened before, GreedyPawn...

This is a forum that is full of young men or mature men.

That is the real problem, no self control, you figure it out.

Earlier today on CNN I heard a guy talk about ISIS recruting on the internet.  He said, "the  internet is FULL of disenfranchised youth".     Maybe Chess.com did him a favor?

Why do you all want to block users like 2Q and bronstein pawn? Sure they're sort of trolls but they bring a lot to the forums, and are really entertaining. The forums are boring without them.

RonaldJosephCote

Nobody wants to block them, and your right, they are entertaining. But you have to stay within the TOS.

kinda doesnt make sense then for you to daily post in his threads , was there any days when you wernt making negative comments in 2qs threads ? why did you choose to constantly follow and comment on 2qs threads ?

His "only chess related" threads like "When did Fischer lose his good looks" "Who likes anchovies" and "What's your favorite breakfast cereal" begged for attention, that was his purpose. The problem is he only wanted yes men responding, if anyone presented alternative views, he went full victim mode.... He wanted anttention, he got it.

People want to troll, go ahead.

People want to act like they are being original by rehashing the same troll stuff, go ahead.

Just dont be surpised you get banned/muted when you dont follow the rules.

Bonsai_Dragon

I'll wager the opposite. I expect a huge persecuted victim routine.

null                                                    This is Candy Cane with another important message from Chess.com to the entire site. The office pool gambling is running fast and wild as to WHO will be un-muted 1st---2Q1C,  or Rattatouie.  Erik has sent a memo to ALL staffers saying he will FIRE anyone indulging in off-line illegal activities, but this has led to more odds as to WHO will be the 1st one FIRED!!tongue.png   RJC has mentioned that since most mods and staff have a drinking problem, its hard to get a correct reading on this racewink.png

The Rat was unmuted yesterday. But it "appears" he's back in the dog house already. This is only heresay until he pops up. 2Q "thinks" he'll be back today/tomorrow but his understandiNg of the facts was never quite reliable.

You mean more "fake news"?

On Sunday, in Denver, United Airlines denied two women from boarding an airplane because they we're wearing "leggins".  This caused an uproar on social media. This mourning Chess.com jumped on the bandwagon taking United's side of the dress code. No one is allowed to post if they are wearing leggins.surprise.png  This caused an even GREATER controversy among many members. What if you have no legs?......why is Erik discriminating??shock.png  To which RJC posted...."I'm not wearing anything at all right now......How do you like THEM apples Chess.com heh??evil.png
