i'd bet that when macer becomes staff he'll unblock ilikewindmills

I have never blocked anyone. If you look at point #4 in my platform, you will see that I am against the block function. I believe in dialogue, which is a necessary part of a vibrant online community, and something that we, the people of chess.com, must engage in if we are to join together and overthrow our oppressive overlords!

Can I just vote yes because I like Macer without having to read the novel?

I still don't see the STAFF symbol next to the macer75 name. It's been about 4 months and apparently Erik is still of sound mind.

If Macer75 was a staff member, it would increase the valuation of chess.com shares in more than 10,000%.

Chess.com stockholders should think about it.

What makes you think chess.com have shares?

i meant to say "free lilkewindmills"

So Ilikewindmills was banned/muted? That is concerning, since the same thing happened to 2Q1C at around the same time. Is it just a coincidence, or is there something sinister brewing?

I appreciate your support; however, I would also urge you to become aquainted with the reasons why I am seeking your support by reading my platform (which really isn't all that long). The issues that I address pertain to the entire chess.com community, and require the involvement and support of the community to be successfully addressed.

Bonsai_Dragon

I was hoping it was more like Obama care, where we could just vote it in without reading it. oh, alright, jessseee

I don't said that.

I said THE VALUATION of the shares could improve, then they could CONSIDER selling it (privately) on a good price.

Don't know for which reason they finally banned 2Q, but apparently windmills told a mod to shut up. Was windmills even a troll though? All I saw him do was flit around the threads fishing for compliments

Telling a mod to shut up, really? Daily puzzle stuff (posting before the puzzle among other things) seemed more likely.

By the way, I remember telling a mod to get a life and I got away with it.

Why did guys want to teach 2Q a thread ? They did it on purpose . If chess.com found out , they will be dead .
SilentKnighte5

While we await macer's inevitable elevation to chess.com staff member, I think we should focus on having him become president of FIDE.  Now seems as good a time as any.

Thank you for your support! It didn't take all that long to read, did it?

I took me about 10 centuries.

The quality of trolls has gone downhill so badly here that macer75 looks like an elder statesman.

Macer, I must inform you that Mossack Fonseca has notified me that my account has seen no recent activity. For this reason I inform you that the conditions for my advocacy have not been met and I will be unable to support your candidacy.

Seems iffy. Dictating where ppl have to post and forcing ppl to lose. I don't like the sound of it

When dealing with our oppressors, there is no other way. I wish it didn't have to come down to this, but the titled players and other elites have been lording over us for so long that the only way for us to take back our rights is to wrestle them from the clutches of those in power. Without requiring titled players to lose, how will we ensure basic rating equality for all? And without encouraging activity in the off-topic forum, how will we ensure that threads there are no longer dismissed as "second-class," and receive the recognition of which they have thus far been deprived?
