My apologies, Aravinds - that was extremely negligent of me. Your name has now been added.

Thank you for your support Goldenstar, and welcome to the team! It gives us hope to see that yet another brave soul has decided to let his/her (I don't want to assume) voice be heard, and join the fight for our rights as members of chess.com!

... and on to much heavier topics. If I'm being honest, I must admit that I don't know what will happen to us if our movement fails. Will we be banned? Jailed? Tarred and feathered? It would all be up to the whims of the staff that we failed to displace, I suppose.

But of course none of that will matter if we succeed - and succeed we will! For why should we fear failure when our movement is growing stronger by the day, and the people of chess.com are becoming increasingly aware of and discontented with the mistreatment they are receiving at the hands of our enemies? The best way - indeed, the only way - for us to avoid the consequences of failure is to become more united that ever, and devote ourselves to bringing about the success of our common goal! Let us not be daunted by the thought of failure, but use it as motivation to make ourselves, stronger, more determined, and more poised to do what it takes to #MaceChesscomGreatAgain!

And on that note, my speech is over. Any thoughts?

Great speech! You have my and Yui's support!!!!

It appears that Bestpony, one of the initial supporters of our movement (he/she is #3 in the name roll of supporters, which is in chronological order of when they expressed their support), has been muted by the staff. This outrage is just the latest example of how the staff will readily abuse their powers in order to silence us. I would hereby like to extend my deepest sympathies to Bestpony - hang in there! - while simultaneously condeming those who have delivered such cruel treatment upon a good-natured and nonconfrontational member of the chess.com community. As long as such atrocities continue to occur - and unfortunately they surely will under those currently in power - our movement must continue, and we must do everything in our power to stand up for the oppressed masses of chess.com!

I, too, would like to express my condolences on the untimely muting of Mr. Hirasawa, having narrowly escaped such treatment myself. They may be able to silence our words, but never the ideas behind those words. We must fight on!

I'm so bereft and disoriented I accidentally posted it twice.

Thank you for helping to spread the message! This will surely be a great leap in our endeavor to... well, #MaceChesscomGreatAgain!

He deserves it for having so many sock puppets, of which you are one.

Yum yum you Nuba, we need trolls instead of idiots like you.

Everything looks pretty good but I have a few concerns.
I see what you're going for by banning GMs but I don't really think it's necessary along with the titled having to lose games on purpose. I think that contradicts your statement when you said increasing ratings will bring more players. If the titled must lose games to stay on the site they might as well leave right there.

Sock puppets? Please, Bilbo— you've seen far more of chess.com then I have. Aren't most people in forums stupid or trollish? Why pick on Bestpony for Yui-posting? Why not go for the immature FP posters, or the trolls that post garbage in the forums? Heck, with the amount of time you spend here, you could do something, I dunno, related to chess?

I applaud you, Bilbo, for anyone who has persisted with chess.com and its forums for such a long period of time is either an idiot, a masochist, or a retiree. Or some combination of the three. My utmost respect, Sir.

No, it's just he told us he uses them.

My gosh, you're still saddle sore? Do your hands hold any evidence that I'm bestpony, or do they just drag the ground?

macer75

Oh hey... Bestpony is back! Well, that was quick. It seems that the outrage generated by his muting has put pressure on the staff, who had no choice but to free him. This is a win for us - the first of many, no doubt. As long as we work together and continue to fight for the people of chess.com, we will achieve many, many more monumentous victories in the future - so get used to winning!

Anyway, welcome back BP! Would you like to fill us in on what happened?

bestpony

Thanks Macer! And right you are! The system may be formidable and quick to shut down the slightest trace of opposition of any kind, but without the community they are nothing, giving us leverage to fight back for the real good of chess.com!

Sadly, the more things change, the more they stay the same, and predictably my earlier post of support here was handled as THOUGHTCRIME and the consequences thereof were swift and ruthless. This worries me. Not only is there still an adamant fixation on keeping that wonderful angel of pure goodness and love out, but I worry they may also be targeting supporters of this very revolution of yours!! Truly outlandish politics are at play here. But having already successfully fought back once, it is right to believe many more victories will befall us!! Let's stand strong friends, for a brighter future and better chess.com!!

bestpony

Haha haha Bilbo you lunatic! You saved that screencap from OVER A YEAR AGO in the hopes of using it against me! Makes me curious to see what other juicy information you've stashed away in your database waiting for the right moment! Your ambitions to succeed as a chess dot com vigilante are laughable at best! Thinking this evidence is enough to bring my army of goodness reforms is foolish because remember:

Bilbo, your signs of old age are showing, this behaviour isn't normal. Look after yourself. If all else fails there's a sale on tinfoil hats in tesco right now. HURRY BEFORE ITS TOO LATE AND I TURN YOU INTO ONE OF MY SOCK PUPPETS TOO!!!!@@@@

Based on the fact Biblo continued this argument against me in pm, spouting even more demented nonsense, and guadring by then blocking me after each of his messages, I think you were spot on, minus one thing. He's clearly a lunatic and retired but based on his pathetic cowardice, a masochist he is not. To make it a good 3, I think delusional or crazy fits well though.

Bilbo21

lol agreeing with your own sock puppet that you boast about having means nothing.  I only PMed you a screenshot from today of someone else you have been stalking.

You aren't making any friends by cheating and being abusive. But then who needs friends if you can make duplicate accounts and play with yourself all day.

bestpony

Can you get a life already? Or at least see a psychiatrist? You are insane beyond what this world ever has seen. And worst of all you don't know when to stop and get over it. Holy crap are you pathetic
