For all the hits the Beatles turned out, for some reason, "While my guitar gently weeps" is in a class by itself. That song never seems to become dated.

cab : Just a few years ago I saw him in concert with Cliff Richard at the O2 in London. He duets with him on The " Solicious" cd singing " I'm Your Puppet." Check it out.

--- Thanks for the new posts.

Kaynight: Thanks for the info.

I see that Ringo Starr was inducted into the Rock HOF ( again ). Did you know " We All Live In a Yellow Submarine " ?

The other week I heard a name out of the far distant past, that being Neil Sadaka. He must be near 80 by now and is out touring again so let me just add: Give em hell Neil !

We have lost another Star from the Rock & Roll scene with the passing of Ben E King ( of the " Drifters " in the early days ). He was known for " Stand By Me " and also " Spanish Harlem ", the one that I liked very much.

--- Thanks a lot for the clips Eseles. I'm just the host here at this thread sort of like a bartender in a pub. This thread is nothing if people do not stop by to visit as well as posting here once in a while.

Thanks for these new posts.

This thread has been on the go for several years now and has passed the 1,000 post level. That is only because of the nice folks that have left posts here. Thanks again ( and keep them coming  lol ).

Stones are touring again, but I can't help but wonder, will they have the same spark the had when they were middle aged? Or younger?

Avatar of Eseles

It's never too late to start wondering... xD

Here's their version of Rolling Stones' "Paint it black"

AlCzervik: Good point. I mean they are older than I am and I could not run around on a stage for a couple of hours ( that is if I had any talent at all  lol ).
