My improvement, unifying both lines, let's call it Staples-Tsvetkov variation

...that's simply Lyudmils line but slower...
c4 e5 e4 c5.
This is the major line.
c6 goes along with everything staples says, and c4 goes along with what Lyudmil says.

Also, isn’t this the Ponziani (1. e4 c5 2. c3), not the Alapin (1. e4 e5 2. Ne2)?

Sicilian: Alapin 1. e4 c5 2. c3
KPG: Alapin 1. e4 e5 2. Ne2
Ponziani 1. e4 e5 2. Nf3 Nc6 3. c3

Staples claims that c5 doesn't manage to complete ANY opening principle, but it's the same as c4, which Lyudmil claims to solve chess. 1 must be refuted... or even both!
