Unless they are breaking some kind of law I don’t see anything unethical about using it to make art. People already copy or make renditions of other peoples work all the time.

It might get hashed out by law.
similar concerns arose when technology improved and people were able to copy and upload movies and music albums. People could do torrent downloads and get what they wanted for free. That had never happened before but eventually it was cracked down on. But now the music industry has changed so much, companies are putting a lot of music out for free and even though people are still doing illegal down loads it’s not as bad as it used to be. People used to buy boot leg dvds but now a lot of people will stream movies. AI will be the same way, people will question if it’s being used legally or not but eventually it’ll become a normal thing and people will embrace it for art.
The big problems are going to stem from things like scams and deepfake stuff.
