The monsters are approaching. One plants a gooey hand in Pharisee’s back.

Pharisee makes quite a show about wobbling on the edge before finally falling down a fairly lethal height onto the ground and phasing right through it.

“Pharisee! Do you need healing?”

The king bursts out the doors.

”Fine, I’ll take care of it! Dang it.”

“I send a physical enhancer at him making him temporarily super powerful and unhinged.”

[ I want you to know how proud I am of you right now for knowing who that guy is. ]

[ Seriously, I’m overjoyed. ]

Miles away, Pharisee climbs out of the ground in a tiny shed, switching his arms and swiveling their head and body in the right direction. She also has to replace every finger on their hand except for the thumb and pointer finger, which is a mild annoyance.

Meanwhile, King Efilee is storming out of the castle, still in royal attire, wielding a scepter. Or is it a staff…?

Anyways, the king casts Fireball at several monsters, causing slight damage to the surroundings. He kills some with magic; others, he directly attacks with the staff. It’s a slow process, though, because Efilee’s speed leaves something to be desired.

Fortunately, there are plenty of corpses around to scavenge, and Pharisee regains their fingers. Now, she would set off for whatever remnant of civilization was left and show off his skills.
