False. I intend on moving to Japan, and maybe return to the UK once every year or two years. I may go to some other countries at times, but I don't know enough about Pakistan to want to move there

True, but I remember KeSeto saying no paradoxes

I know we can't talk politics, and I'm not sure this will count. There are so many places I'd like to go, however, I'm not sure Americans - even though we are all individuals - would be welcome. I personally, , enjoy learning about all cultures and places. I even like to hear opposing views, because maybe they have an argument as to why I might be wrong.

Modern Simpsons? Maybe I'm too old to know them, so false.

The person below me doesn't like trophy hunters.

+1 Yeah, I am okay with some paradoxes here (I actually like them a lot in real life), but I said that because too many posts were just confusing to most.

chess.com members don't come to this thread to ponder paradoxes or crack codes. They want a fairly simple thing for them to respond "True or False" and then ask something they are curious about happy.png

False. Also, just to be sure, did you get the joke? If you did, I would like to tell you I'm like Drax and take everything literally.

The person below me has a good punchline for the following "1827. The Cold Air Baloon was invented"

To be honest, I sensed the humor in there, but didn't catch the joke itself. After some literacy study (tropes and syntax especially), you get a "feel" for when something has an underlining message you miss, but of course, I don't understand the joke here.

Also, false to the last statement for the game: The person below me likes tropes like I do happy.png

Avatar of edgeworth09

Oh, just found out it's a British thing, so of course you won't get it. My apologies. There's a brand of tea here known as PG Tips.

Also false.

The person below me has a punchline for the previous statement. I already have it, I just want to see if anyone else can come up with something before I say the full thing

Avatar of BattleSoldier

False - look forward to the punchline. I LOVE British humor.

The person below me will say the punchline.

Avatar of edgeworth09

True, but I'll say the full thing.

"1827. The Cold Air Balloon was invented. But it doesn't really take off"

Avatar of edgeworth09

The person below me is disappointed by the punchline

I kind of like it: then again, the one that does take off is just "full of hot air" (Ba-dum tsss).
