alright, here's my idea to get discussion started.

Valinor and the City of Angels

This is going to take place in both the modern day and in the past, with the modern day having you uncover an ancient mystery while a series of murders takes place, while in the past you will embark with Valinor to find the mystical City of Angels and stop the dastardly Masquerader, and the RP will switch between the two periodically as the story for both proceeds

There’s this problem though: how will you inform players which time period the RP is in? There’s the risk of someone coming in without reading past pages and playing in the wrong time period.

I suggest constantly editing the first comment to reflect the time period being played in, and linking to when the switch happens.

I have 3 ideas stuck up in my head

1. Three worlds, the human world, the Feywild, and the Shadowfell (stolen from D&D ik) are under threat from the Devourer of Worlds
2. My take on a freeform RP, a virtual simulation of the real world where you can do (almost) anything
3. A What If? version of Rainy Forever where Chip died shortly after sending the invitation, causing a chain of events where Dead took over the World Tree, shattered the Rainy Empire, and searches for the Box to free the Verdant Eye

I love myself some good alternate timelines.

We need to establish how Chip died though — cause of death could weigh in on the timeline — and how timelines themselves work.

Overall, though, it’s a five-Star concept.
