Ah yes, the ole' "the reason you are poor is because it's your fault" argument. That's a classic one. When 78% of Americans are living paycheck to paycheck is because it's their fault, you start to realize something is wrong here. I'll give you a very easy example:

Let's say for example there is a park bench with NO Wet Paint sign. Now you sit on it and accidentally get wet paint on your clothes. Well who's fault is that? Clearly is your fault right? Because you should have check the chair for wet paint before sitting on it. Okay, fair argument. But not everyone is smart, IF only 1 out of 10 people sit on the bench and get wet paint on themselves. Okay, but WHAT IF 78% percent of people get wet paint on themselves....all because there was NO WET PAINT SIGN.....No you begin to wonder....is it their fault? Or is it the problem with the system? If it was "designed" like that or if it's some idea of a sick prank, than who's fault is that, the people or the pranksters? I'll let you decide that one.

By the way, the United States is the ONLY 1st world developed country with no universal healthcare, even though it's the richest country in the world. Let that sink in.
