(But yeah if you get bitten [unless someone somehow stops the infection], u r basically doomed to be a catgirl, another thing, I stated this before, but I'll say it again, transforming into a catgirl has a SLIGHT brainwashing effect where you can feel nothing but love for your new form, this was added by Lilac to help other people feel happiness like the original virus made her feel. She was canonically still pre-transition before the virus, so you can imagine why she loves it so much, even without the brainwashing [and why I would too :3].)

(it is not instant. For people with particularly high resistance, it can take up to half an hour, and that's not including antivenom spells which can weaken or stop the infection completely.)
