so this is what i meant by stalking/insulting.  so even if i block him, he'll follow me to other threads.

fb had stated elsewhere before that he reserved his "    " comment for bunicula to indicate he was stupid & useless, and missing a brain between his ears.

According to a book I am reading, it says that the queen (BY ACCIDENT) became the strongest piece on chess board. But it was not meant to be so:

"The Persians gave the most important warrior the title of Vizier, and the French thought this was called Vierge, after the Virgin Mary, which then became the queen."

Italian  ? pastafarianists? neo naturists ?

those who wear clothes in naturists camps ?

those who hve nothing between "   ears   "?

    good thread lol

Me . I can't sleep because I'm frightened I'll miss something within the drama. I'm not sure why this hasn't made worldwide headlines.

just my two cents in all of this.

fb has had multiple accounts, and has stalked some ladies here. one highly respected lady has been absent for quite some time here due to jackasses like him.

kayak, you don't know shit. the incarnation of fb was made fun of quickly because he posts in gibberish, but then, five mintes later, his english is perfectly legible.

babytiger, i've had threads deleted. a thread being deleted or locked is usually on the whim of whichever staff member has read it and deems it out of hand-erik allows it.

trysts, i admire your restraint. just one of these times we'd like to see you go 'flags or al on members like fb or kayak.

also, just because one is a member in any group here doesn't mean they agree with everyone else in the group all the time. the cheating forum and od are the best examples of this. i understand that many are perceived by the company they keep, but, at the same time, every one of us has friends in life that may do things we wouldn't.

You should get change from your 2 cents for that crock .. ....

Nice that you waited for me to log off before you posted, brave man or what. I hereby award you the victoria sponge wimp medal. Enjoy!

i think fb's strategy is to spam so that other posts cannot be read & then delete his own.  this may be why kayak has difficulty finding the relevant posts to read.  so for now i've BLOCKED him - sad day for freedom - don't worry, fb, you have not been muted by chess.com ;-)  he merely repeated 3 posts within a span of minutes.  i had already warned him on the bread thread.

he has always been welcome to defend himself (not a courtesy he has ever extended to me) but that is not what he has been doing so far.  if he promises to not just repeat posts on this same thread i will let him in again.  i do understand the excitement of learning a new word but this has gone too far.

Bunny. It's your thread and it's up to you who you block, but it's wrong to block someone then carry on talking about them. That is something I try never to do, even with people I don't like.

gerberk

Tomorrow this is all  yesterdays news..... FB is sort of a celebrity this way.

I kind of agree with this statement but that is excatly what fb is doing to me and to other members whom he has blocked, in his weather report thread.

Pulpofeira

That is not his fault, he types so much you could find the human genoma reading between lines, he couldn't avoid talking about every form of life on this world sooner or later.

i agree kayak but i was explaining y i blocked fb.  and still do u not see what i meant there or in post 326?  do read post 296 as well.  do different rules apply for fb?  or did u believe i was making it all up?

this is the 1st time i'm blocking him btw ...

Bloody hell. Just woke up to this bunfight. Got to agree with whoever said it, there are some good posters on here who are falling out between themselves over an obsessive. He has befriended and "unfriended" (strange word but I can't think of another) me more times than I can count. Ignore and move on.

edit. "bunfight". No pun intended bunny.

Well how's this, kayak. I haven't bothered you, but Frenchy has bothered me. So I'll just deal with the Internet jerks the way I think right given what they do, and you just deal with your own problems, okay? I'm not fighting with anyone, I'm giving a jerk his own medicine;)

You and your friends have attacked him, right left and centre. Right from the start he was made fun of. You've accused him of stalking. You dislike war on the innocent yet you attack a person on this site without any facts as to what he is guilty of. All you have are rumours, passed around by people with nothing better to do. It's called character assassination.

Did you notice there are quite a few of the women here who know both of the identities and are not happy about it?

You mean they think they know. That's not good enough. I deal in facts not fiction. If you're not 100% sure then don't accuse him. IP addresses can be traced easily enough.

Internet anonymity has been around for some time now and is well established.  A client that's sitting behind a masked, virtual IP address can't be traced using normal methods, and certainly not by chess.com.

You're peeing into the wind on this fB thing, one-cannon. That's rarely a sensible strategy even at the best of times, but especially so when you don't have the first clue.

kco

IP address can be traced but by through a court order.

kayak21

I have nothing against FB. He has never been nasty to me, he has not stalked me, he is always polite when he talks to me. I'll not attack him because of rumours that can't be proven as fact. Sorry, but I'm out.

bunicula

kayak, i never asked anyone to attack him.  however you were defending him.  if i received a report about my child at school, i would investigate before defending blindly arguing that my child was always well behaved at home.  that's all i'm saying.

and yes, he's not ur child. just an analogy.

gerberk

I don t like rows and fights and things...I also know FB (marc) as  a fine fellow.

His style is a little confusing but you have to read between the lines now and then.

I should show this to my wife's brother, provided he would be able to learn more than two English words during the next ten centuries. We had a nice fight because of a similar case last Easter. He sometimes forget, if God himself yells at my wife I'll crush Him like a watermelon.
